EFFICIENCY - Cools approximately
40 to 45 Fahrenheit degrees. (22 to 25 celcius degrees) below
outside temperature. Continually reduces the temperature within
the first three hours depending on the contents of the unit and
the surrounding air. Heats to approximately 130-140 degrees F.
(54 – 60 deg.C)
RELIABILITY - With
only one moving part (the 12 volt fan), there is virtually nothing
that can wear out. Most Koolatron units use a "brushless" fan
motor designed for 20,000 hours of continuous operation. Twenty
years ago we used very wide plastic latches to hold the lid closed.
The latch design was changed in that year but we still get orders
for those wide latches.
PERFORMANCE - High performance with
low power draw (minimal battery drain).
ECONOMICAL - Eliminates the need
