Tips for best results
For best results, pack your cooler with pre-cooled items before heading out on your next trip. It can take several hours to cool warm or hot items in this electric cooler. Also ensure the fan is not blocked so that the air can circulate for even cooling. To enable warming mode flip the power cord connecter to the RED or warm mode. Place items that are already warm or hot inside, as this cooler is not meant to be used to cook food.
Portable cooling power
Our travel coolers draw less power than your car’s parking light and plug directly into any 12-volt power outlet. The cooler's solid state thermoelectric cooling will cool the contents to approximately 40 degrees Fahrenheit lower than the temperature of the surrounding air. For example, at a temperature of 80 degrees F the contents of the cooler will stay at 40 degrees F. As a result, you can store cool drinks for extended trips, preserve leftovers, and even keep ice cubes whole for three or four days longer than traditional coolers.
Because of the tough demands of space, scientists had to find something more dependable and less bulky than traditional refrigeration coils, gases and compressors. Extensive research led to the creation of the thermoelectric module. This is the same cooling technology used in Koolatron coolers.
