Precision Control 36 Qt Medical Vaccine Cooler from Koolatron®

Koolatron® is a leading manufacturer in thermoelectric technology and has been making custom precision temperature control coolers and incubators (“hot boxes”) for the medical sector for over 25 years. The newly updated 36 Qt. Vaccine Cooler is Health Canada approved for the safe transportation and temporary storage of medical vaccines.

This compact, lightweight unit plugs into the 12V DC outlet of any vehicle; it is 110V AC compatible when used with a Koolatron® AC adapter (sold separately). Thermoelectric warming and cooling technology provides precision temperature control with dual brushless fans for enhanced air circulation. The precise computer-set temperature sensor and control board automatically switches from cooling to warmer as needed to maintain contents at a pre-set temperature between +4 and +6°C (customized at the time of manufacture).

Dual safety latches and view-through sliding panels

Dual safety latches prevent accidental opening of the lid and inner view-through sliding panels open one at a time to allow access to contents while minimizing temperature change during loading and pack-out. Using a Koolatron® Precision Control Vaccine Cooler in place of an insulated container to maintain a consistent temperature during medical transportation can prevent unanticipated cold chain incidents and vaccine wastage.

Koolatron® precision control medical coolers and warmers have been used by public health departments, private labs, and universities across Canada and the United States.

Koolatron® 36 Qt. Vaccine Cooler applications include:

    • Safe transportation and temporary storage of medical vaccines
    • Cooling and storing blood products at donor clinics
    • Storing and transporting medical specimens
    • Maintaining medications within temperature limits
    • Keeping AEDs safely above 0°C in emergency vehicles in cold weather
