Make sure you gather all your tools and ingredients before you start - you don't want to be scrambling mid-recipe to find something you forget!

You Will Need

  • Air fryer, medium sized or larger (at least 2.5 qt)
  • Meat thermometer to check doneness
  • Medium sized mixing bowl or ziplock bag
  • Mixing spoon and measuring spoons
  • Basting brush (optional)
  • Ingredients

  • 3 boneless chicken breasts, with or without skin
  • ½ tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Instructions

    1. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towel. Brush all over with vegetable oil.

    2. Combine salt, pepper, Italian seasoning, paprika, and garlic powder in a large bowl and mix thoroughly. Place chicken breasts in seasoning mix and turn to coat evenly. You can also combine the chicken and seasoning in a ziplock bag and shake well to coat.

    3. Arrange the seasoned chicken breasts in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

    4. Air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 22-25 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C). If using the Total Chef 7-in-1 Air Fryer, select the pre-set "Chicken" function or set the time and temperature using the digital controls.

    5. Let the chicken rest for 5-10 minutes before serving to let the juices redistribute. Serve alongside a garden salad or your favorite seasonal vegetables.
